Richard Keightley is the oldest son of the former Governor of Gibraltar Sir Charles Keightley. Richard was born and educated in the UK. In this interview he recalls visits to the convent during his father’s governorship. He speaks of social life in Gibraltar; VIP visitors including the Princess Royal, Princess Mary; visits to Spain, horse riding and bullfighting. He retains a great affection for Gibraltar and speaks about the culture and identity of the Gibraltarian people.
